Biography Donal Lunny has been at the cutting edge of the evolution of Irish music for almost thirty years. While still in his teens Davy Spillane became a founder member of Moving Hearts, Donal's fourth band: this trad-rock group is now regarded as one of the most significant Irish bands to have emerged in recent decades.

DONAL: "I've known Davy longer than I've been working with him. We met years ago at music festivals around the country, but our paths first crossed in music in Moving Hearts. It has been a pleasure to watch Davy's development since the early days. He has become a virtuoso, comfortable in a great number of different milieus. Davy has played with a lot of important artists, and has dived into contexts that would be alien to many traditional musicians."
