he RHACT is an AIDS prevention Charity at the front line of International HIV / AIDS education. Our principle aim is to raise and distribute funds in order to help the worst affected communities around the world to help themselves. Founded in 1992 the Trust has to date distributed funds in more 30 different countries.
ll profits from 20th Century Blues will be distributed cost effectively according to merit and need. Only AIDS prevention projects may apply for funds. We seek to encourage low cost AIDS education projects with proportionately high yield in terms of preventing the spread of AIDS. The Trust is committed to "funding the unfundable". In other words we support projects in the greatest need which none the less frequently find it difficult to obtain funding for vital work. The Trust is proud of our established track record in lighting beacons of hope in places where previously there was none.
e support innovation and initiative both in the projects we fund and the way we administer our grant giving. The Trust is entirely independant and receives no statutory funding.
he Trust is proud to be the beneficiary of profits from 20th Century Blues which was conceived by the Trust in association with Neil Tennant of the Pet Shop Boys and Tris Penna formerly of EMI. The Trust would like to thank all the artists who have given their time and their talents to this important project and to everyone who has supported the project.
